American Bar Association Commission on Domestic Violence  - Homepage and offers a domestic violence screening tool for attorneys.

American Prosecutors Research Institute (APRI) – The Violence Against Women Unit site contains extensive information, including: trainings, publications, surveys, links to VAWA, statutes, and full faith & credit, statistics, APRI contacts for specific legal issues, and attorney checklists.

Center Against Spouse Abuse (CASA), St. Petersburg, FL – Offers information about domestic violence, legal advocacy, crisis and safety planning, and education.

Institute for Law and Justice – This site contains online articles and publications on a variety of legal issues including domestic violence legislation reviews.

Law News Network – An online law journal for attorneys.  Not specific to domestic violence, but contains legal articles, court opinions, and discussion groups (registration required to participate in discussions).

Legal Services Online Domestic Violence Protection Project for the State of Georgia – A completely confidential site where victims can file for OFPs, receive court info, info on filing criminal charges, safety planning, and get lawyer referrals.

Minnesota Association of Law Libraries (MALL) – A comprehensive site that provides links to law libraries, indexes, search engines, legislative materials, and court rules.

Mintz, Levin, Cohn, Ferris, Glovsky and Popeo, P.C. – This law firm does pro bono work for victims in conjunction with Greater Boston Legal Services and the Battered Immigrant Women’s Project.

Nolo –  A legal self-help information site.  It contains software, legal dictionary, legal encyclopedia, legal forms, affordable books, and a questions/answer section.  It also contains links for victims of domestic violence.

Southwest Center for Law and Policy (SWCLAP) – SWCLAP works across jurisdictions to develop comprehensive, interdisciplinary responses to violence in Indian country. Their staff of skilled trial attorneys has decades of experience working with Tribal, state, and federal court systems.

Tribal Law and Policy Institute (TLPI) – TLPI facilitates the sharing of resources so that Indian Nations and tribal justice systems have access to cost effective resources which can be adapted to meet the individual needs of their communities. We strive to establish programs which link tribal justice systems with other academic, legal, and judicial resources such as law schools, Indian law clinics, tribal colleges, Native American Studies programs, Indian legal organizations and consultants, tribal legal departments, other tribal courts, and other judicial/legal institutions.

VIOLET: Law & Abused Women – Provides information and interactive services to meet the legal needs of abused women and service providers in Alberta and Canada.

Includes general information on domestic violence on tribal land, information on tribal protection orders, and links to other online resources for domestic violence on tribal land.
